Julia first discovered yoga in college as one of many group fitness classes. Shortly after graduating and feeling the pressures of the business marketing world, she found yoga became a practice to help her release stress as well as get to know herself on a deeper level. Loving the spiritual time, as well as the physical calming and grounding effects, she found herself intrigued and wanting more.
Over the years, yoga really became a personal practice to help navigate the storms of life. In November 2019 Julia completed her 200 hours of training with Urban Breath. She is excited to share her love for this practice, its philosophy and its empowering growth mindset with others.
Her style invites softness, gentleness, self compassion and exploration — and her goal is to establish a safe environment where one can spend time being introspective, investigating their body, mind and soul.
